About this website
Reklamationsret.dk is an information website about Danish consumer rights. Its purpose is to provide guidance on complaints about faulty goods and a route to Refunded.dk.
Information collected during a visit
This information website has no login, newsletters, comment sections or forms.
The website is hosted by Netlify. When you visit, the hosting provider receives technical information such as your IP address, the requested web address and information about your browser. This is used to deliver and protect the website. See Netlify’s privacy policy.
Statistics and cookies
If you choose “Allow statistics”, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which guides are visited, how long pages are active in the browser, whether visitors reach 90% of a page, which of the three help situations they choose and which relevant links they follow. The purpose is to improve content and navigation and measure referrals to Refunded.dk. Processing is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
The Google tag loads only after you accept. If you decline, the website’s statistics code sends no statistics data to Google. You can open “Statistics settings” at the bottom of the page at any time and choose “Decline statistics”. This stops future collection and removes our Google Analytics cookies. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Statistics include the page address and a fixed page title, events and timestamps, pseudonymous browser and session IDs, and information about country and browser/device category. We remove query parameters and fragments from page addresses and record relevant clicks as fixed categories. Recognised referrals from search engines, Refunded and AI services such as ChatGPT and Perplexity are reduced to a fixed source category and an approved address without a conversation path, search or parameters. Other referring addresses are not sent. If the referring address is missing, one of a few fixed AI source values in the link’s utm_source may be used to select the category; the parameter itself and other parameter values are not sent. This is a source hint, not evidence of an AI recommendation. We do not send names, email addresses, case details or form text to Analytics. Ad personalisation, Google Signals and granular location and device data collection are switched off.
The rr_statistics_v1 cookie remembers your choice on reklamationsret.dk and our subdomains for up to 180 days. After you accept, _ga and _ga_L14W5DXLNR are used for statistics for up to 180 days from creation; their lifetime is not extended on each visit. A temporary refusal may also be stored in the browser’s session storage if cookies cannot be saved. User and event data in Analytics are set to be retained for 14 months, without a reset on new visits. The change takes effect at Google after 24 hours. Aggregated standard reports are not covered by this deletion period.
Google Analytics is provided by Google, including Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. Google receives technical connection information when the tag loads and measurements are sent. Google states that IP addresses from EU users are not logged or stored in Analytics. Statistics with pseudonymous IDs are not the same as anonymous data. Google and Netlify may process information outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Google describes the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses as transfer mechanisms in its data transfer frameworks. Fonts and external links
Fonts and images are delivered by our hosting provider. The font is not downloaded from Google Fonts during your visit.
When you follow a link to another website, that website’s terms and privacy policy apply. This includes links to public authorities, consumer organisations and Refunded.dk.
Your rights
When personal data about you are processed, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, subject to the conditions in the rules. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency.
