A reported model issue, an expert examination and correspondence about continuing a repair are different kinds of information. Compare the disagreement, evidence and exact outcome — the item alone does not determine the result.
Use these examples to make your own description clearer. They are not an assessment of your case or a promise of the same result.

Graphics card: suspicion about a model
Case 23/06160
Decision · Purchase
Outcome: The request for a free examination was rejected.
Describe your own symptoms. Reports about other units do not replace observations of your item.
Disagreement, evidence and limits
The disagreement
Did reports of a possible model-wide fault entitle the buyer to a free examination?
What the board considered
The buyer had not tested whether his own card had the reported fault.
What it does not establish
The board did not establish that the card was fault-free or that every examination fee is lawful.
We selected three published decisions from the Danish Consumer Complaints Board about goods bought from 2022 onwards. They illustrate different questions about evidence, use information and repair correspondence. Selection is deliberate and not representative.
These are not statistics, a success rate or our customer stories. They do not show how often consumers win. Other purchase dates, faults, agreements and rules can change the assessment.
These are our own short summaries, checked against the cited primary sources. Each entry links to the board’s full reasoning. We are not a public complaints body, and the board has not approved this comparison.
Download the sources and bounded observations as bilingual JSON. We do not republish the full decisions.
