A silent illustrated guide with Danish on-screen text and Danish and English captions. We show a made-up purchase, genuine interface excerpts and a letter produced by the tool’s actual letter function. This is assembled from images, not a continuous screen recording or a customer story. The letter template is Danish; your own descriptions are not translated.

Every step in writing

You can follow the full guide without watching the video. The times show where each step appears in the video.

  1. 0:00–0:08

    Start with the purchase

Open the free tool at refunded.dk/eu/start. This illustrated guide uses made-up headphones and a made-up shop. You review and send the letter yourself.

  2. 0:08–0:16

    Find the purchase facts

Enter the item, shop and purchase date: 1 September 2026 in this example. An order or receipt number is optional. Other proof of purchase may be relevant if the receipt is missing.

  3. 0:16–0:25

    Describe the actual fault

Enter when you noticed the fault and what you observed. Here, sound cuts out on the left after charging and testing with two phones. Do not guess the technical cause.

  4. 0:25–0:33

    Choose what to request

Choose what to ask the shop for. This example requests a repair. Your choice is a request, not a guarantee of that remedy or a successful claim.

  5. 0:33–0:42

    Review the purchase and dates

Review the Danish letter: subject, shop and purchase date. Go back to correct facts. The template stays Danish in the English interface; your own descriptions are not translated.

  6. 0:42–0:51

    Review the fault and request

Check the fault description and remedy request. The letter asks for next steps and, if possible, a reply within seven calendar days. This is a requested reply time, not a legal deadline.

  7. 0:51–1:00

    Copy or download, then send

Choose Copy letter or Download .txt. Paste into your own email, replace Your name and attach relevant evidence. Check the shop’s contact route. Refunded does not send the letter.

  8. 1:00–1:08

    Keep your correspondence

Keep the sent email, date, evidence and shop replies privately. A downloaded letter does not prove sending or receipt. An automatic acknowledgement does not mean the complaint is resolved.

  9. 1:08–1:16

    Save and reopen the draft

Choose Save draft on my device and keep the file private. Next time, choose Open saved draft and select that file. Refunded does not automatically store your purchase facts.

  10. 1:16–1:24

    Plan the next step

Choose your own follow-up date; you can download a calendar file and set a reminder in your calendar. Choose the relevant route for silence, rejection or delayed repair. Refunded sends no email.

Reklamation – et par hovedtelefoner

Hej Eksempelbutikken,

Venlig hilsen

Before you continue

Refunded builds a letter from the facts you enter. You review it, add your name and relevant evidence and send it yourself. A saved draft is a private file on your device; Refunded does not automatically store it.
